Following on from my previous studies utilising architectural style site analysis towards an abstract installation based outcome, this submission for the Pineapple Black open call utilises the space given and its properties to create a mixed media outcome comprised of physical models, and 3D modelling animation.

 

Taking the dimensions provided on the curatorspace description, 940x1080x2400mm as a starting point, the size of the space allotted, I referenced the modular nature of the changing rooms as a whole in tandem with previous studies in fractals & self-similar geometries, scaling the dimensions down by a factor of ten, then again by a factor of three to create the array of forms spread across the wall. 
 

Accompanying the physical models will be a television displaying 3 separate looping flythrough animations based off the same theme, taking the dimensions and creating abstract three dimensional environments. The keyframes of the first animation is shown below, flying through a box the dimensions of the room, filled with a 10x10 array of boxes the same ratio, each of which is filled with the same 10x10 array scaled down again.
